STRAW BERRY MILK SHAKE


A strawberry ice cream milkshake is an ideal beverage in a hot afternoon. It's easy to prepare and highly nutritious.








Ingredients

  • 250g of fresh strawberries (serving for 2 persons)
  • 2 tablespoonful of plain yogurt (approx 70g)
  • 1 table spoonful of sugar syrup (according to your own preference)
  • 200ml of full cream milk
  • Strawberry syrup
  • Vanilla ice cream

Steps

  1. Cut the strawberries into cubes, and place them on a plate.






























  2. Put the strawberry cubes into the fruit blender.



  3. Add 200ml of full cream milk.
  4. Add 2 tablespoonfuls of yoghurt.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar syrup.







  6. Put 5 ice cubes



  7. Blend the mixture to get a strawberry milkshake.



  8. Pour the strawberry milkshake into a cup.
  9. Scoop one scoop of vanilla ice cream and place the ice cream on top of the strawberry milkshake.
  10. Put some strawberry syrup on the ice cream.
  11. The ice cream milkshake is ready to be served!



Tips

  • To make the sugar syrup, mix sugar with water, and heat it up.
  • Alternatively, you may replace sugar syrup with honey to make it taste better.
  • To make the recipe more nutritious replace the ice cream with frozen yogurt, or use low-fat vanilla yogurt and thicken the shake up with a frozen banana. Yum! Also, leave out the sugar syrup and use honey instead.
