VENKY IN BILLA'S DIRECTOR(MEHER RAMESH'S )NEXT FILM

After the blockbuster, 'Billa', starring Prabhas in the lead, Meher Ramesh is all set to direct Venkatesh in his next, it is reported. Ramesh's debut film, NTR starrer 'Kantri', also was a superhit and he wants to score a hattrick with the Venkatesh film.

Venky was very impressed with 'Billa' and had asked Meher to make a script for him, it is reported. The young director is busy discussing a script for Venkatesh.

ONE SONG REMAINING FOR THE COMPLETION OF RAVITEJA STARRER 'KICK' FILM

Canning of a song remained balance for Raviteja- Ileana starrer ‘Kick’ directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Venkat on the banner of RR Movie Makers. Director says, ‘We shot three songs, besides some talkie part and a huge chase in Europe, Italy, Austria and Malaysia from February 5 to March 20.

The characterization of Raviteja would remain a highlight of the movie. Another character played by Tamil hero Shyam would be an added attraction. My latest film ‘Kick’ would remain the best entertainer in my career and would be a stand alone in the ensuing summer.’

SAIF NOT WISHING TO MARRY KAREENA

Contrary to the reports that suggest that Bollywood’s hottest couple Saif and Kareena is desperate to walk the aisle, actor Saif Ali Khan has clarified that they are pretty much happy with the way they are.

In an interview to a news daily, Saif talked about his marriage plans to Kareena at length. “Since marriage is the culmination of any relationship, people are always rushing us into it. We definitely didn’t get into a relationship without thinking of the future. But apart from just signing on a piece of paper and having children, I don’t think we are missing out on marriage at the moment. So neither is Kareena after me, nor am I after her to get married. A relationship is not about controlling a person. It’s about being there for each other and not being insecure” exclaimed the actor.

When asked what he thought about Kareena as a woman, the much in love Saifu said “She is the kind of woman who can give 100 percent to her career and 100 percent to her home. Not many actresses have dedication like her. Her level of dedication can only be equated to that of Aamir and Shah Rukh. I want her to fly and soar to the zenith of success. I am not as big a star as she is. I don’t even know if I will ever reach that level.

Saif turns defensive when asked about how he feels about Kareena’s sizzling chemistry with other co-actors and says, “We are professionals and we have to do every kind of scene. If there is no trust, there is no point in having a relationship.”

SHRIYA'S COME BACK IN TAMIL

Shriya, who has not had any Tamil film release for quite a while now, is expected to come back with a bang! Chikku Bukku, in which she stars alongside Arya, will be released in a couple of months, says sources close to the film. Considering the speed in which the film is being made, it is possible.

HRITHIK AS M.F.HUSSAIN FOR THE NEW FILM

Artist MF Hussain’s son Owais Hussain is gearing up to produce a film on his father and has reportedly roped in Hrithik Roshan to play the lead role.

The project has been through a long planning process and is now ready to hit the floors.

Owais said, “It is a full-on musical but isn’t in the conventional biographical format. The film will shed light on some of the lesser known aspects of my father’s life and bring out the more humane aspect of his personality.”

Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan will reportedly play the lead role in the flick. Explaining his decision, Owais said, “Hrithik has the right gravity and intensity. He also has the voice and the bearing for the part.”

MADHAVAN TO ACT IN 13B SEQUEL

If you weren't quite horrified with the atrocity that was '13B', this bit of news should petrify you - the sequel of 13B is afoot.

Star Madhavan and director Vikram K Kumar have already discussed ideas of the spooky sequel and the film should hit screens in 2011. In fact Madhavan was so pleased with the outcome of '13 B', that the star took the director on a short holiday.

Madhavan said, "I had promised Vikram a treat during the making of the movie. He deserves every bit of the success he is getting now after six years of hard work in this industry. Vikram and I going for a holiday to Dubai or Singapore. It is a boys-only holiday, where we will be chilling out, eating and indulging in water sports."

Madhavan added, "This holiday will also be discussion time for 13B's sequel. I am glad that the movie did well in Hindi as well as Tamil. We look forward to offer more to the audience."

'13 B' was a Box Office flop, but Madhavan has the biggest film of his career lined up for 2009, '3 Idiots'. He has slimmed down a great deal for the film and wll star alongside bigwig Aamir Khan (who had to sign a contract that restricts him from interfering with the direction and screenplay) and fellow 'Rang de Basanti' compatriot Sharman Joshi. '3 Idiots' finished shooting in April and Madhavan can't stop raving about it. "It is crazy fun on the sets but at the same time, serious work happening. I am working on my dates and as soon as I am done I will fly out with Vikram" he said.
